01Quotes & pricing

Is the online estimate the final price?

No. It is an initial guide based on the details you provide. We confirm the final offer after inspection. It may go up, down or stay the same, and we explain any change before you decide.

What affects my car's value?

Make, model, age, mileage, running condition, damage, missing parts and vehicle history all play a part. The more accurately you describe the car, the closer the estimate will be.

Do I have to accept the offer?

No. There is no obligation to proceed. If you are not happy with the final price, you can walk away.

Should I repair or clean the car first?

No repairs are needed to request an estimate. Tell us about any faults so the estimate reflects them.

Are there inspection or cancellation fees?

We do not charge an inspection fee and there is no obligation to sell. If you need to change an appointment, let us know as soon as you can.

02Your vehicle

Do you only buy scrap cars?

No. We also consider running and unwanted cars. Every vehicle is assessed individually.

Can I sell a car that will not start?

Yes. We buy non-runners and collect them with our own recovery vehicle. Tell us about the fault, if you know it, and whether the car can roll and steer.

Do you buy damaged cars or MOT failures?

Yes. We consider accident-damaged cars and vehicles that have failed or no longer have an MOT. Tell us the condition when you request your estimate.

Is there an age or mileage limit?

We do not set a fixed limit. Older and higher-mileage cars are welcome and each is assessed individually.

Do you consider hybrid and electric cars?

Yes. Battery damage or specialist handling may affect the arrangements, so tell us before booking.

03Collection

Is collection free?

Standard collection is free within our confirmed Kent service area. Any charge for out-of-area collection or specialist recovery is explained and agreed before booking.

Do you collect from my postcode?

We collect from across Kent and some surrounding areas. Check your postcode on the collection area page and we will confirm availability.

How soon can you visit?

Visits are normally arranged within two working days, subject to your postcode, schedule and vehicle requirements.

Can you collect from a workplace or garage?

Usually, yes, with permission from the site and suitable access. Tell us the address and any restrictions.

What if the car cannot roll or steer?

We can often still collect it with suitable equipment. Let us know beforehand so we can plan the loading. Specialist recovery may involve an additional charge, agreed in advance.

Can I change my appointment?

Yes. Call or email us as soon as you can and we will rearrange for the next available slot that suits you.

04Payment

When and how will I be paid?

We normally pay by UK bank transfer during handover, after the final price and checks are agreed. You confirm receipt before we remove the vehicle.

What if the transfer is delayed?

We only collect once you confirm the payment has arrived, so your car stays with you until then.

Can you pay someone else's account?

We pay a verified bank account in the seller's name. If you need something different, speak to our team before booking.

Will I receive a purchase receipt?

Yes. We confirm the sale in writing when the handover is complete.

05Documents

Can I sell without a V5C logbook?

Possibly, subject to additional identity and right-to-sell checks. Let us know before booking so we can confirm the documents needed. A replacement V5C may be required.

What identification do I need?

Photo ID, such as a current driving licence or passport, plus proof that you have the right to sell the vehicle.

What if my car has outstanding finance?

Tell us before booking. We need the current settlement figure and have to agree how the finance is settled before the sale can complete.

Can someone sell the car on my behalf?

Possibly, with written authority and valid ID. Please confirm this with our team first.

Can I keep my private registration?

Yes. Arrange retention with the DVLA before the sale and tell us in advance so we can plan around it.

Every purchase is subject to inspection, satisfactory checks and an agreed final price.
